Pangkalahatang-ideya
Ang Lungsod ng San Antonio ay tumatanggap ng apat na federal entitlement grant na iginawad sa pamamagitan ng US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Kasama sa apat na gawad na ito ang:
- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
- HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)
- Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)

Inaasahan ng Lungsod na makatanggap ng humigit-kumulang $23 milyon sa kabuuang pagpopondo ng grant sa FY 2023. FY 2023 Action Plan

Programa ng CDBG

HOME Program
Maaaring irekomenda ng Lungsod ang rehabilitasyon at muling pagtatayo na inookupahan ng may-ari; abot-kayang rental o homeownership housing development; homebuyer program (tulong sa paunang bayad); at Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) CHDO Operating expense program.
Programa ng ESG
Maaaring magrekomenda ang Lungsod ng mabilis na muling pabahay, pag-iwas sa kawalan ng tirahan, emergency shelter o mga serbisyo sa outreach sa kalye. Makikipag-ugnayan ang staff sa Department of Human Services.
Programa ng HOPWA
Maaaring magrekomenda ang Lungsod ng mga serbisyo sa paglalagay ng permanenteng pabahay, tulong sa pag-upa/utility, transisyonal na tirahan, medikal na hospisyo na may 24 na oras na pangangalaga, at mahahalagang serbisyo tulad ng mga pagkain, transportasyon para sa mga taong may HIV/AIDS. La Ciudad prevé recibir aproximadamente $23 millones en fondos de subsidios totales para sa AF 2023. Antes de utilizar estos fondos, el HUD requiere que la Ciudad desarrolle un Plan de Acción y Presupuesto taun-taon que detalle cómo los federal fondos de betas descritas en el Plan Consolidado de cinco años.

Programa ng CDBG

Programa HOME
La Ciudad puede recomendar la rehabilitación y reconstrucción de viviendas ocupadas por el propietario; desarrollo de viviendas accesibles de renta o propias; programa para kompradores de vivienda (asistencia para el pago inicial); y Programa de gastos Operativos de la Organización de Desarrollo de Vivienda Comunitaria (CHDO).
Programa ng ESG
La Ciudad puede recomendar realojamiento rápido, prevención de personas sin hogar, refugio de emergencia o servicios de alcance en la calle. El personal se coordinatará con el Departamento de Servicios Humanos.
Programa HOPWA
La Ciudad puede recomendar servicios de ubicación en viviendas permanentes, asistencia de renta/servicios públicos, refugio de transición, hospicio médico con atención las 24 oras y servicios esenciales como alimentos, transporte para personas con VIH/SIDA. El personal se coordinatará con el Departamento de Servicios Humanos.
Participación Ciudadana
